Will you re-issue sold out models like 32002 LVG C.VI, 32005 Gotha G.IV, 32008 Sopwith Triplane, 32009 Albatros D.V or 32011 Fokker D.VII (Fok) etc?

No. Currently we do not have plans to simply re-issue sold out models such as 32002 LVG C.VI, 32003 SE.5a "Hisso", 32008 Sopwith Triplane, 32009 Albatros D.V or 32011 Fokker D.VII (Fok) etc. But at some time in the future we will release Special Edition versions of them. The Special Editions are intended for experienced modellers and will include additional decal schemes, resin figures and 100s of photo-etch detail parts. We do not have a release schedule set for the Special Editions at this time. Additionally we occasionally release new editions of popular models that have sold out with new box art, decals, photo-etch details and instructions. We do not rule out the possibility of any sold out aircraft reappearing in this form in the future. Note: Some sold out models remain available from distributors and retailers long after they have sold out at www.wingnutwings.com.

Why don't you make a model of (my favourite WW1 aircraft)?

Many of the most popular WW1 aircraft are single seat fighters (Nieuport 11,16,17,24,27,28, SPAD 7,13, Fokker E.V/D.VIII, Albatros D,1,III and Morane-Saulnier Type N etc) and are already available as very nice 1/32 scale models from other manufacturers for you to build right now. Wingnut Wings concentrates on making models of WW1 aircraft that are not already available in 1/32 scale. Yes there have been, and will continue to be, some exceptions. Given enough time and continued interest we think it would not be wise to rule out any WW1 aircraft subject from being released by Wingnut Wings. We also welcome your suggestions.

COVID-19 - how does this affect Wingnut Wings?

Updated 16 March 2020. Many of our suppliers are not operating at their usual capacity. This has caused delays to new production items like 32051 1/32 Handley-Page O/100 etc, but the biggest determining factor as to when a new model is released continues to be that no Wingnut Wings model will go into production until we have decided the tooling is good enough. Wingnut Wings warehouses are located in The Netherlands, Seattle, Hong Kong and New Zealand. This allows us to continue shipping models to our distributors and retailers should any one location not be open for business for any reason. Orders placed through shop.wingnutwings.com will be shipped from our New Zealand warehouse as per usual. Usual delivery times will certainly be affected by the ever-changing circumstances faced by the international and national postal services. Please try and remain patient. And safe.
